Hello, I’m Anton Franzluebbers. I’m conducting a research study under the supervision of Dr. Kyle Johnsen analyzing the performance benefits of using point cloud annotation tools in virtual reality compared to traditional annotation tools using a mouse and keyboard. If you choose to participate, information about your hand and head movements in virtual reality will be recorded. You will also be asked to fill out two questionnaires regarding background information and your thoughts on the experience. The data collected during the activity will not be personally identifiable. Your name will not be used in any publications that use the results of this study. You can choose to stop at any time during the activity. If you are prone to motion sickness, epileptic seizures, or vertigo, or you are unable to perform the physical motion required to use the virtual reality equipment, you may not be able to participate in the study. The study will be conducted in Boyd 164, and will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
